What Airport should I fly into?

The Huatulco international Airport (HUX) is located 15 minutes away from our home base In Huatulco, there are plenty of connecting flights from Mexico city and direct flights from Guadalajara, Monterrey, Tijuana, Cancun, Houston, Dallas, Toronto and Calgary.
When is the best time to visit?
​
You will find the most consistent swells and the best sandbars from April - October.
How do Guided trips work?
​
We pick you up early according to swell conditions and seek the best waves for the day. We will bring water, snacks and shade, stopping at a local restaurant of your choosing for lunch. We can surf all day if you wish.
Do I have to stay at one of your accommodations?
​
You can Choose to stay anywhere in Huatulco.
Where can you pick me up?
​
Anywhere within Huatulco or Barra de la Cruz.
Is there any accommodation by surf beaches?
​
Our Playa Mojon camp is right on the beach in front of the wave, you can check out surfline conditions here.
What boards should I bring?
​
We have different waves but most people seem to have more fun with short to medium sized boards.
Are all the waves point breaks?
​
Most of our waves are right hand point breaks but we do have some secret beach breaks, although not as consistent as our points.
Will we go to Salina Cruz or Puerto Escondido?
​
We stay on the eastern part of Huatulco, driving a maximum of 2 hours to reach our spots so we will not go to Puerto or all the way down to Salina Cruz, although we do get pretty close.
How do airport transfers work?
​
You just have to provide us with your flight information and we will set up an official airport van for you. They will be waiting for you right outside your gate and you pay them directly.
What spots will we visit?
​
Our rugged geography and consistent summer swells create a wide variety of waves. We will seek out the best and least crowded spots of the day, having 8+ options with the truck and 12+ with the boat, including some gated roads and a private ranch to which we are the keyholders. The best thing about it all is that all the spots are remote.
What happens if the ocean does not cooperate?

We have a wide variety of activities lined up from boat trips, fishing, snorkeling, waterfall expeditions and mezcal tastings to ensure you get an authentic taste of the land.
Do you have surfboards for rent?
​
We don't have surfboards for rent but we can take you to rent one without an issue, just let us know.
What time do we start?
​
It will depend on the swell but usually around first light. We will let you know 48hrs prior to your trip.
Can I book half a day?
​
All bookings are a full day.
What is special about Playa el Mojon?
​
It’s a remote, powerful fast wave but if you time it right, it comes down to one thing, barrels, barrels, and more barrels, here is the surfline link.
Do you have surf classes?
​
Surf lessons are only offered in the off season from November-February.
